Ayurvedic medicine is more concerned with a person who has a disease than with the disease itself.
For this reason, the first step in this process is to get to know you, to find out what is wrong with you.
WHAT IS HAPPENING TO YOU?
One of the most important concepts of Ayurvedic therapy is that the patient should become aware of the cause of his illness or disease. This concept is called "prajnaparadha".
Ayurveda explains "prajnaparadha" as an error of the intellect and is considered the main cause of all diseases. For example, perceiving that certain foods make you feel bad, but continue eating them. Or continuing to do specific actions during the day contributing to stress. These actions can be verbal, mental or physical.
During the treatment you will, as a patient, develop self-awareness and self-knowledge about what you do and how that makes you feel. With all the experienced and learnt during the process, your inner resources and self-regulating energies will be enhanced. That is why the patient must be highly involved throughout the whole treatment.
Therefore, the best way I can help you is through individual Ayurvedic consultations. Depending on the reason for your consultation, we will proceed in one way or another, with more integrative or partial treatments.
The action plan that I will propose may include detoxification processes, nutritional guidelines, changes in habits, daily routines, body treatments that accelerate change, nutritional supplements... and the philosophy of Ayurveda.
It is important to understand that these treatments are deep and continuous. My approach as a therapist is to accompany you on this journey of self-discovery. Throughout the sessions, we will work together to integrate various concepts and overcome any difficulties in implementing your new routine.
